Sunny day with no wind, after a day of rain. Many were active, moving in pairs and 3s and 4s,enjoying(?) the fine summer weather.

Today’s count was 218, between 11:00 and 11:45 AM roughly. Sunny day, some smoke haze, 22-23 degrees Celsius, no wind. A few older Monarchs seen, 2 mating pairs. Most appeared to be warming themselves in the sun or drinking from the Milkweed. Milkweed flowers are about 50% through their life cycle. No chewed leaves so far. No larvae so far.
