These were the only individuals I photographed. However, that evening I drove from Corona to Hwy 285 on Hwy 247 (about 40 miles)-- I saw MANY monarchs along the way. They seemed to be everywhere. There were also many patches of both the whorled/poison milkweed and the broadleaf milkweed on the roadsides.
