What appeared to be a fresh monarch -- definitely a male. Nearby planted milkweeds included Texas Milkweed, Butterfly Milkweed and Zizotes. Found at a native wildflower demonstration garden at the Boerne Visitor Center created by members of the Boerne Chapter of the Native Plant Society. Monarch was originally seen by my wife Terry Lashley, so credit to her -- I just ran back and photographed and uploaded it.
