we found 7 common milkweed plants at this location (Sugarland Run trail @ Elden Street, Herndon VA, but no monarchs. Several other trailside locations where we intended to look for some iteration of monarchs had been mowed during the rent week - neither monarchs nor milkweed at those sites.
