Every evening this week, I have seen both make and female monarchs. They are flying together i their mating dance but around 8 pm the make shows up alone. Not really sure what is happening or why he can't catch the females. This is unusual. Normally when I see both make and female in the evening. Once they disappear from sight, I don't see the make again until morning.
