Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 07/28/2021

Number: 3

7:04pm 87 degrees, feels like 97, dewpoint 75, winds SSW at 9 MPH. It's lightly overcast but the Monarchs don't seem to mind. I think these three must be males because they have been in the fray for some time. Do Monarchs get tired from all this activity? I managed to catch a photo of one of the them, a male with a damaged wing. I wonder if it got damaged bickering with the other Monarchs. It's that red zinnia they all seem to like. I noticed they do not light on the red zinnia I planted close in front of white privacy fencing.
