I saw a red admiral butterfly flying in my front yard over plants. It also landed on a metal fence post to warm itself. My husband, Ken, saw it also. We feel glad that at least one butterfly showed up in our yard this summer. We have a lot of milkweed in the backyard, but so far we have not seen any monarch butterflies.
