Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 06/18/2021

Number: 1

Saw my first monarch in my courtyard the exact same date as last year! I think they never leave me. They lay eggs, eat my milkweed in my garden, go in to cryslis, come out, and lay more eggs. My biggest issues this time of year are flies and toads. I do have fly traps out, but some still attack my catapillers, and they get the strings and die. Also, one day I have a cryslis and the next morning it is gone. I know it is a toad, I just can't find it. I will have four more cycles of eggs before the end of the year!
