Two adult male monarchs have been flying around the back yard all day (from at least 10 am through at least 1 pm). When one sees the other, they interact and chase or twirl around each other in the air. One has fresh wings, the other some tatters. They have nectared on blue mist flowers and tropical milkweed. They have rested on other plants especially some tall seed heads from spent purple coneflowers. Could not get a photo as they would fly whenever I moved anywhere within their sight.
