found it trapped in a grove in the basement doormat. It's tail was on the wrong side of its wings. Released it several times on the zinnias but it just fell to the ground. Finally I threw it high up into the air and it took off. Hopefully it will be ok. was a female. And only the 2nd monarch I have seen this year.
