Saw as many as six larva on three butterfly milkweed plants next to my house. Most of them were on one plant which is now mostly devoid of leaves. Today I count only 3. Either heavy rains yesterday washed them off or they didn't find their way to the other milkweed or they were ready to go build their cocoon.
