We were hiking in the Heins Creek Land Trust trail. (3/4 mile) There were lots of monarchs flying low among the plentiful bergamot and milkweed plants there. It’s a mixed habitat of woods, fields and sand dunes, bordered on one side by the creek. Monarchs were spotted in all locations.
