The birds have been really battling all week This morning it was 3 males Now @ 4:30,it’s 2 females
For a couple months they were mostly taking turns at the feeders despite multiple ports 1 would drink sugar nectar and another 1-3 taste test the blooms close by But no more It’s time to put on weight and every bird is suddenly very territorial But none of them best the reigning queen She takes on all comers and dives from nowhere to dislodge drinkers who slip around her
