Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 08/04/2021

Number: 3

I've been seeing Monarchs everyday all summer. At least 2 to 3 per day. I haven't been seeing many larvae tho. I've been having a paper wasp problem. Those darned wasps are horrible! ONE paper wasp will kill EVERY Caterpillar it finds! Any ways, I've begun to get the wasp problem under control. As far as adult butterflies go, multiple butterflies have been visiting the milkweed in my yard. They have also been performing their mating dances as they fly together. They've been laying multiple eggs also but the larvae are either hiding or being eaten or I just haven't been noticing them. Once in a while I will see a newly hatched butterfly tho so there is hope
