A week ago I reported
finding a few Monarch eggs on some of our swamp and common milkweeds.
Today, at about 9:45 AM, I spotted three Monarch caterpillars, our first for 2021. All three were enjoying the flowers on some of our swamp milkweeds. They ranged in size from a bit more than a quarter inch to a bit less than an inch in length.
At the time the sky was hazy, and the air was calm. Other weather conditions included:
