Sighted total of two Monarchs today. First one, sighted behind house in backyard in shade at that time, no flowers to attract it in that area, just saw it briefly swoop by in southerly direction, appx 10:00 a.m., weather sunny, temp appx 72 deg. Second one, in butterfly garden, nectaring on Jeana phlox, very "jumpy", could only get one picture then it circled around briefly and left garden to the west, weather sunny, mild wind,temp appx 90 deg.
