We have I think same a.m. routine male juvenile rubythroat. Comes in checks feeder first on patio. Then went to Mexican honeysuckle justica this morning. Also have white/yellow honeysuckle Simpierens blooming on fence he goes to in same vicinity. He was perched on desert willow tree twig long enough to see in field glasses the looking around for orher rubythroats and i.d. of.
No adult male rubythroats spotted since July 17, 2021
Nesting apparently in this area since June/July somewhere.
