Photo shows one of fourteen captive-reared, released today. Originally captured in my home milkweed garden; A. speciosa and A. syriaca. There are currently many wildflower nectar sources, including common sunflower, purple liatris, and orange paintbrush. Today's weather: high of 80F, very little breeze, extremely smoky air from CA wildfires. Monarch Way Station 9418
