Today was very hot and muggy as I counted 6 monarchs at 12 of 18 locations I monitor. Five monarchs were nectaring on Spotted Knapweed at one location, and the other one was nectaring on a purple butterfly flower spikes in town. This was between 1 PM and 2:15 PM. Weather was mostly cloudy with the Wind SW-11 mph. The Dew Point was 75% with the Humidity at 100%. The Temperature was 75F.
