Sighted two Monarchs appx 1:45 p.m. First one (see photo) female, other one unknown. Female flew from around west side of house into butterfly garden on south side of house, nectared on Jeana phlox appx five minutes, left garden going back around to west side of house. Just before that female left, a second monarch appeared, also from west side of house, it lighted on some honeyvine milkweed growing on top of a Bloomerang Lilac, only stayed about thirty seconds, then left to go back around to west side of house. Weather partly cloudy, temp appx 89 deg, slight breezes.
