Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/11/2021

Number: 12

I have three milkweed plants that were in one small pot from the nursery, so they are closely planted. They are pink. I purchased the plant at calloway’s nursery in Plano back in June. It is along a fence that gets morning sun and afternoon shade. I had no caterpillars two days ago. I know this because I harvested some seeds from one of the plants. They are covered in caterpillars today. Most caterpillars are on one plant but there are a couple on the others. This is my first year to grow milkweed.
