We're still seeing a faded male patrolling our garden, but now there are some bigger, longer-winged, fresh monarchs that nectar on adjacent flowers and seem indifferent to the resident male's presence. There are scattered monarchs around the various patches of nectar plants in our yard and around the adjacent bl9cks. I'm guessing about a dozen today, definitely more than yesterday.
