I observed no monarchs yesterday at 10 of 18 locations I monitor. At 11:45 AM this morning, I observed 2 female monarchs with a male monarch joining them at 4 PM on my Joe-pye-weed garden in the back yard. I also walked to town and counted 3 monarchs between 12:30 and 2 PM at 8 of 18 locations I monitor. Weather was mostly sunny with the Wind WSW-10 mph. The Temperature topped out at 88F.
