7:49pm. The sun is setting, it's 76 degrees and a lovely evening. A female hummingbird has been occupying the feeder the last few days. I was standing near the feeder watering a potted plant when she came very close to inspect me. She was in front of me at eye level about 3 feet away then she was about 2 feet from my left elbow just hovering. Finally she settled in for a few sips at the feeder.
