I first noticed the caterpillars on our milkweed on July 31st. Since then, we have consistently seen caterpillars on the plants and monarch butterflies laying eggs. We currently have 14 chrysalis on our house and 5 caterpillars on the milkweed. The highest number of caterpillars that we’ve seen is 64.
