Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/13/2021

Number: 1

We have hundreds of milkweed plants on and around our our property and have had a few monarchs flying about this summer. One seemed particularly fond of the milkweed we allowed to grow in our pool area and that is where this caterpillar was spotted. He was still munching away this morning when I checked but later seemed to have moved on. Hopefully he will build his chrysalis in this ice protected area as well.
