I went to the beach at Harrisville State Park along the Lake Huron shoreline to see if monarchs were migrating on a NW wind. I observed no monarchs from 10 AM to 11 AM. The wind began turning to the ESE, so I decided to count monarchs at my 18 locations in and around the town of Harrisville. I also counted at 2 additional locations that my friend (Larry) usually does. August 14th is my last day of summer count. Here are the results:
