Nearing the End of their Journey
The faded, tattered and torn with very thin abdomens have been passing through our property the last two days on their way due south to Point Pelee, 2,500' from here. Some stop to nectar mostly on our green-headed cone flowers. Kinda puts a lump in my throat. I feel like I should in this case apply a tag!
Somewhat fresh seen also. But these seniors WOW!

About a dz til noon.
