As I took an "overhead" view photo of my front yard from the 2nd floor at 8:25 am today, I saw the flash of bright green on the back of a Ruby-throated Hummingbird. It had been nectaring on a Tithonia, got startled and the sun hit it to bring it to my notice the instant it zoomed away. Luckily, the photo caught it, but without much detail.
