Four female and three males released from mesh cages on our deck today. We have appx 70-80 healthy looking plants mixed of Asclepias tuberosa, swamp and tropical plants in the yard. Thus far we've witnessed about 25 larvae/chrysalides/either hatched or to be hatched. Curiously almost all of these larvae have come from potted tropical plants on our deck. These were grown from spring seed plantings in flower pots . Only two or three have come from our many plants out in the yard.
