10:30-10:45am A rush of monarchs from the north. Some continued due south to Point Pelee NP. A couple stopped to nectar on green-headed cone flowers. All fresh. Managed to net & tag 2 wild males. Also two faded males hanging around patrolling. One is same tattered male..his 3rd day today.
Also a fresh female laying eggs on Common mw. That always continues here til end of Aug/very early Sept.

Fog cleared. Sun is shining bright. 23°c 83% humidity after all day drizzle yesterday. NNE calm breeze at 6 kmh.
