"I just saw a monarch today, near Big Knife provincial park - it just flitted by quickly, but there was no mistaking it. No sign of any milkweed anywhere nearby, I think it was interested in my yellow hard hat. Along with 10,000 thrips.
Greg". Report was filed with iNaturalist.
