So many! Zipping back and forth and everywhere! There's been a family in the avocado tree in neighbor's backyard for as long as I can remember, at least 40 years. It's a BIG avocado tree! Anyways, there's always one little one that stays in the tree and defends the feeder and hibiscus trees with much vigor! It's fun to watch but lately, or during mating season, it seems like the males ritual dance is getting weaker or non existent. I remember they used to do a really dramatic "U" shape back and forth flight with a final really high flight then a quick dive with a SNAP at the bottom. Lately, last couple years, it seems they don't do it or start to do it and kinda just fizzle out then try to mate. I dunno what's up but there's allot of them
