I planted common milkweed seedlings at Allaire Community Farm two weeks ago outside their new butterfly house. I visited today and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this baby chomping on the last two leaves of this seedling. The mother can find the tiniest of plants to lay her eggs on. I moved it inside the butterfly house into a cage where they have lots of milkweed leaves to feed the caterpillars so it wouldn�t starve.
