Visited Point Pelee National Park between 9:30 & 11:30am. While at or near the Tip for about 15 minutes observed about 12 monarchs flitting from north to south along west path down to Tip. Monarchs quickly & easily flitted out over Lake Erie & continued south over the lake & out of view. Most went out over the slightly calmer east side. They started out at about 15' over the water & gained altitude to about 30'. Others remained along west path & nectared on goldenrod which is just beginning to bloom.
Hot & humid weather continues for about another week.
22°c with a real feel of 25. High humidity at 87%. Clear & sunny. High for the day of 28c with real feel of 34. NNW wind
@ 12 kmh changing this afternoon to SW @11kmh.

Still seeing monarchs on our property. Two females today laying eggs. Had a mated pair yesterday.
