These birds are camera shy 3 males are still here frantically fattening up They’ll battle over turns at the nectar feeders but seem to be sharing the blooms 1 will go over the sage and leave another to claim the milkweeds while the 3rd is on the zinnias
At least 2 females or juveniles today I suspect 1 is still raising young She was plucking hapless victims from my Bee Hotel and taking them to go!! A sight that gives me mixed emotions
