Sighted at least two monarchs throughout the day. First one sighted appx 9:30 a.m., good bright color flew through butterfly garden, second sighted appx 2:00 p.m.,color appeared faded, flew from the west side of house hovered briefly around purple phlox in lily garden didn't nectar then left the area heading south. Possible third one sighted appx 2:30 p.m. but suspect it was the same one as seen at 2:00 p.m, colors faded, entered butterfly garden from the east, showed interest in currently blooming Crepe Myrtle then moved to lantana "tasted" flower didn't stay, exited butterfly garden southeast.
