Monarch Waystation #271 reports sighting monarch larvae of differing ages on milkweeds in the front yard. The photo shows 2nd and 4th (?) instars [1 each] sharing the same tropical milkweed. I also found a 5th instar enthusiastically feeding on a purple milkweed leaf in the same bed nearby.
