I have been constantly looking for caterpillars on my common milkweed since I have been seeing one or more monarchs every day. Today I found 4 large caterpillars on my whorled milkweed. I then checked my butterfly weed and swamp milkweed as well as the common milkweed but couldn't find any caterpillars on any of them. In early summer I had seen a couple of caterpillars on the common milkweed but none since. I must be missing them.
