Saw 2 more half-grown (~1 in. long) monarch caterpillars on our milkweed. That's at least 12 we've seen so far this year.

It's late (one butterfly has matured and flown away already, as of Aug. 20-21), but these two might still have a chance if it warms up again and gives us a long summer/late autumn.
