With the heat and drought in central California along with the bad air quality from the smoke I think many have left to Southern California or the coast where the conditions are not to harsh. I normally have 15-20!and have my 2 cup feeders out. Now I have only three 1 cup feeders and even then it’s slow and change out the food weekly vs every few days.
Normally go through 50 lbs of sugar only 24 pounds todate. Hope the weather changes and get the rain. It effecting all wildlife here all animals.
