Yesterday, the weather was 100% sunshine with the Wind S-7 mph, and the Temperature topped out at 81F. I observed no monarchs on my 2 mile walk at 12 locations I monitor, nor at my house. Today, I counted 3 monarchs together at my Joe-pye-weed garden from 11:10 AM to 5:05 PM under the same weather conditions. All were females that finally headed west as the dark clouds moved in. The only difference in the weather was the Dew Point went from 67 to 68%, and the Wind increased to 16 mph.
