This year we reared our monarchs reason is the last 2 years we would go to our patch of milkweed and see larva, 2 days later they were all gone I did see a yellowjacket wasp pick up a monarch larva and fly away with it never to be seen again,this year as soon as we found eggs on our milkweed I cut the leaves of the plant and put in a container and kept feeding them with new leaves everyday we reared 9 3males 6 females using swamp/common milkweed today # 9Flew and soared south. Fantastic!!!
