On my 2 mile walk today between 11 AM and Noon, I counted just one monarch on a purple flowered butterfly bush in town. I saw no monarchs at 9 other locations I monitor. At 4:45 PM, I happened to look out my front window and saw a male monarch on a Purple Coneflower in my wife's front yard garden. Weather was 100% sunshine with the Wind SSW-10 mph, and the Temperature topped out at 84F.
