unfortunately underexposed at the eagle, but another image of one of the bald eagles we frequently observe in this huge black cottonwood on the shore of the Kennebec River on lower Water Street, Waterville, Kennebec County ME. this eagle moments before was sitting back to morning sun with wings closed, but here has wings partially open perhaps to dry or to warm the body of the eagle despite morning air temperature already at 80 F at 0848 hrs and forecast to be 90+ by mid afternoon.
