There was a Northwest Wind this morning, so I went to the Lake Huron shoreline to see if the monarchs were migrating at 9:30 AM. No monarchs were observed, and the Wind turned ENE-10 mph at 10:30 AM. I then went to 10 other locations to check on monarchs nectaring, but observed none to 12:30 PM. At my house, I finally saw a male monarch at 3 PM. Another male monarch joined it at 5:25 PM. They both left heading southwest at 5:55 PM. The day was 100% sunshine with the Temperature topping out at 80F.
