We have observed Monarchs here all summer, starting probably in late May. ID'd a female in the hoop house yesterday, but have at least 3 individuals hanging around at any one moment. Highly likely that there are many more. Observed mating several weeks ago. Ample milkweed in the area, w/ several acres of open fields bordered by woodlands. Been here 3 years, have observed Monarchs every year. No eggs or larvae yet observed, but by the time we checked all that milkweed they be grown! Thx.
