Overlooking Lake Michigan, a steady stream of Monarchs

[Additional information contributed by observer, added by Journey North, 09/07/21]: The Monarchs were moving quickly on this windy day. It was windy, but not too strong. My husband and I counted as the monarchs were flying past us, in about a 15 minute time span, and I actually wanted to put 20+, but the App didn't accept that entry. They were all flying in the same direction, coming from the NW (we were looking West over the Lake in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park).
Time of day and duration: Early afternoon, about 15-20 minutes || Location: on the dune in Sleeping Bear Dunes park, one of the scenic outlook stops, overlooking the lake toward the West || Behavior: more beeline-fashion, didn't sit down on any plants
