We have a field of common milkweed and I have been counting the numbers flushed as I walk around the field for the two month. Recently the numbers have been increasing (More eclosing in the field) For a long while I counted about 20 but in the last week I counted 35 and today counted 45 adult Monarchs. This is not a migration but the beginning point of one.
