We got home from vacation and my granddaughter found a monarch caterpillar circling the edge of my pot of milkweed. Knew it was looking for a place to hang. Set it up on a twig and by the evening it was hanging. Saturday morning it had formed the chrysalis. We plan on moving it to our monarch cage to strengthen its chance for survival. I will update when it emerges and is ready for release.
